The city also has international urban infrastructure and rich life and culture based stories. As the first international tourism city in Korea and the No.1 tourist destination in Asia with well-established tourism resources, it keeps implementing various tourism projects and infrastructure including marine leisure.

Wellness tourism is a high-level, comprehensive tourism for health, happiness, and quality of life. It may look similar to healing tourism, health tourism, healing tourism, and well-being tourism, but it ultimately pursues to encompass all these types of tourism.

Wellness tourism is not defined as a unit business of particular industries, facilities and programs, but combines all sectors of hospitality industry such as accommodation, activity and experience, and food and drink service.

Wellness tourism will also contribute to the revitalization of Busan MICE tourism.

Busan will take another leap forward as a global wellness tourism city.
